Wiki site Capacity Assesment & Dev't, ICCO-CAD group advisors

Dear ICCO colleagues,

This is to let you know, that the CAD group wiki site is ready. It contains more general information about the ICCO CAD –group. This is a group of ICCO Capacity Development advisors working in Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America It also has references to literature, websites, case studies, toolboxes.

Please have a look at: iccocad.pbwiki.com

We also started a blog. It contains news about some of the discussions which are going on.

Purpose
* The purpose of this wiki site is to build a kind of library to make information available for ICCA capacity development advisors on the long term.
* It also has the purpose to inform new ICCO advisors to get involved into this network.
* And it is a kind of platform to communicate with other ICCO departments, and other organisations.

Wiki
If you would like to know what a wiki is, just view the video about wikis:

the example of 4 people who go camping. It explains how wiki collaboration is much easier than a flow of e-mails to and through.
You can find the video one wiki’s here: www.commoncraft.com/video-wikis-plain-english

Feedback needed
What I like to know from you, is your feedback.

Please let me know what you think about iccocad.pbwiki.com

What do you like?

What do you don’t like?

What would you like to maintain for the long term, so that experiences are embedded within the ICCO organisation and that institutional memory is build?

Where would you like to provide a contribution to this site?

Please mail your feedback to Simon Koolwijk, faccom@xs4all.nl
